Investment advisor and guide, Alfa Shah, gave fundamental guidance on how the housewives should be able to make proper financial planning, where to invest safely, how to get maximum benefit. Housewives in the area were present in large numbers.

Special Awareness camp for the schemes launched by Hon Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modiji was held by Samartha Women’s Welfare Association in a joint effort with Abhyudaya Bank. Seen on the occasion are President of SWWA, Rajashree (Ulka) Vishwasrao, Jogeshwari east Branch Manager Shri Manjarekar, Mrs. Aarti Chindarkar along with others. The awareness camp for the Pradhan Mantri Bima Yojana and Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana was well appreciated by the residents of Bimbisar Nagar

On the auspicious occasion of Dassera, a joint venture by Samartha Women’s Welfare Association Trust and Krushna Dudh. A stall at Bimbisar Nagar was organised for the sale of milk products of Krushna Dudh like Aamrakhand, Shrikhand, Ghee etc were sold at discounted rates

‘Samartha Manthan’, a bimonthly magazine is being published under Samartha Women’s Welfare Association, that covers the current issues along with other genre like contemporary literature, sports, politics, etc.
Tremendous response for SWWA organised Summer Camp
Samartha Women’s Welfare Association organised Summer Camp twice for children of 5 to 15yrs age group, in Bimbisar Nagar during the summer of 2014. They were taught shlokas, surya namaskar, mallakhamb and fun games during the camp. The trainers were state and national level atheletes. The participants were felicitated with certificates and attractive gifts. Parents were extremely happy and satisfied with the outcome of the camp. The prize distribution was held in the presence of Cultural committee head of Bimbisar nagar hsg, soc., Mr Jeetendra Palande, Shri Nadkarni of senior citizens organisation, Shri Nagrale, Shri Suryaprakash Sawant, ex corporator Mrs Sumangal Koltharkar and parents of all the participants. Chindarkar guruji in his address to all said that this was an ideal example of excellent management. We would always support such endeavours. Bimbisar Nagar Hsg. Soc. President Shri Palande expressed his satisfaction over the entire event and its organisation and promised to help in such events organised by Samartha Women’s Welfare Association. There were many enquiries for future camps and participation promised in anticipation.
Felicitation of Women for commendable work in their fields on International Women’s Day
On 20th March 2016, SWWA organised a special felicitation programme for women who have done commendable job in their respective fields. On this occasion Dy Vice President of STCI Ms. Anita Mohite was felicitated. For her work among the adivasi students ret. Lt Rekha Raote, Ms. Sanjivani Lad for her contribution in propagating Organ Donation and Ms. Pranjal Shrotri for ‘Localite Kitchen. The felicitation took place at the hands of Ms. Rajashree (Ulka) Vishwasrao, President, SWWA.
On the occasion she also mentioned that SWWA would be engaging itself in training for employment women of backward sector in the field of handicrafts and clothing

Samartha Womens Welfare Association organized Mahila Anand Melava and Business Guidance Camp at Tawde Atithi Bhavan in Rajapur. About 1.5 thousand women participated in the event organized in association with “Triveni Sangam Rajapur”, “Khadi Village Industries” and “Samarth Women’s Welfare Association”.
